Clearing your browser cache and deleting cookies

If you are having difficulties signing in to your account, please clear your browser cache and delete cookies.

amerginhub is continually being updated with new content and features. Occasionally, your browser may store old cached versions of our content and you won’t see our most recent changes. This can sometime impact logging in to your account.

Clearing your cache and deleting cookies will help to resolve this. We have outlined this process for the latest versions of all major browsers below.

Google Chrome
  1. Click the Tools menu (three dotted lines in the upper-right corner)
  2. Select History
  3. Select Clear Browsing Data from the left-hand side.
  4. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
  5. Select Clear Data
  6. Quit the browser and re-open for changes to take effect.
Internet Explorer
  1. Select Tools > Safety > Delete browsing history
  2. Uncheck Preserve Favourites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.
  3. You will get a confirmation at the bottom of the window once it has successfully cleared your cache and cookies.
  4. Quit the browser and re-open for changes to take effect.
Safari (MAC)
  1. Click Safari in the upper left hand side of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences.
  2. Select Privacy and then click Manage Website Data.
  3. Select Remove All and then in the small popup, selection Remove Now.
  4. Quit the browser and re-open for changes to take effect.
Firefox
  1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.
  2. From the Time range to clear drop-down menu, select your desired range (to clear your entire cache, select Everything).
  3. Next to Details, click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear. To clear your entire cache, select all items.
  4. Click Clear Now
  5. Quit the browser and re-open for changes to take effect.
Microsoft Edge
  1. In the top right, click the Hub icon (looks like star with three horizontal lines)
  2. Click the History icon (looks like a clock), and then select Clear all history.
  3. Select Browsing history, then Cookies and saved website data, and then Cached data and files
  4. Click Clear.
  5. Quit the browser and re-open for changes to take effect.
